Armed men hijack a New York City subway train holding the passengers hostage in return for a ransom. They negotiate with dispatcher Walter Garber who has much experience routing trains, but has no experience with hostage negotiating. They threaten to shoot a passenger each minute until a million dollar ransom is paid in this intense thriller.
