When Dean's best friend Troy, the school's drug dealer, commits suicide, their perfect white-picket-fence façade is shattered. Dean's classmates hatch a plot to kidnap Dean's younger brother and hold him ransom for the drugs. When another boy is kidnapped by mistake, his divorced mother is too busy planning her wedding to the town mayor to notice he's missing. Meanwhile, Troy's mother is planning his funeral.
