College professor and former lothario Remy is having a hard time dealing with the recent revelation that he has inoperable cancer. He gets his family and friends together but still cannot reconcile his relationship with successful Capitalistic son as it contradicts his Marxist values. His son does gather together his old over-opinionated friends who roast everything from the Catholic Church, to Canada's overextended health care system, to 9/11 so as to show that even in a dying breath someone’s true voice remains strong.
