Ed Burns is Jake Vig, a gifted grifter. He is an absolute pro as a con man and uses his good looks and charm to get everything he wants. Jake comes up with a con designed to be big enough to get him out of the business for good. The scam is against a local crime boss using his accountant. It is a risky prospect but it will put him in the money and avenge the murder of his best friend.
