What would happen if the Earth’s core stopped rotating? Geophysicist Dr. Josh Keyes is afraid we are about to find out. Changes in the planet’s core indicate that it is preparing for a slowdown that will literally tear our atmosphere apart and cause untold natural disasters. Our only hope is to send a team of scientists down into the core to detonate a device capable of reactivating it. The group is racing against time and nature in this thrilling adventure.
