| In
the small town of Guernon in the French Alps Pierre Niemans (Reno), a veteran
criminologist arrives to investigate a gruesome murder of a University librarian.
Soon after his arrival, more bodies are found and he eventually crosses
paths with a lieutenant from a nearby town investigating the desecration
of a young girl's grave by Neo-Nazi's. He joins Niemans' investigation when
other elaborately mutilated bodies are discovered. Niemans is as much of
a mystery as the case he is solving and his delving into the dark secrets
of the small town make for a dark, stylish French thriller. This gory noir
is not for the faint of heart. In French with English subtitles. |
