Teenagers Ruby (Leelee Sobieski) and Rhett (Trevor Morgan) thought that Erin (Diane Lane) and Gary (Stellan Skarsgard) were a wonderful and caring couple. But when these orphaned siblings discover that their new guardians may have played a part in their parents’ deaths, the promise of a happy life in their new Malibu home abruptly comes to a halt in this nightmarish teen thriller.
