Set in the 1940's, director and star Woody Allen plays CW Briggs, the top insurance investigator in New York - or so he keeps telling the firm's efficiency expert Betty Ann Fitzgerald (Hunt). Briggs' reputation is being able to get into the mind of the thief to crack any case. But has he met his match with the mysterious and hypnotic Jade Scorpion case, an exotic treasure with a legendary curse? This is a heist that turns the tables on Biggs as the mind of the thief is getting into him. Allen once again assembles a large all star cast for this neurotic comic adventure.
