| Four upscale African-Americans - a married banker (Hughley), a confirmed bachelor lawyer (Bellamy), a reformed playboy (Moore) and a commitment-averse doctor (Chestnut) - dub themselves "The Brothers." When Terry (Moore) announces that he's getting hitched, panic and chaos ensure for the other three. They don't believe that the player will go through with it and, in the mean time, they have to deal with the revelations that his impending marriage means in their own lives. Will Terry actually go through with the big "M?" Will Derrick (Hughley) and his wife reach an understanding about their sex life?" Can Brian (Bellamy) get over his love/hate attitude about women?" And does Jackson (Chestnut) have the courage to be the man his promising new girlfriend deserves? The issues of sex, friendship, family and commitment are dealt with using a sense of humor and honesty in this film that director Hardwick has described as "refusing to exhale!" | |||||
