Brilliant musician and loving husband and father Romulus Ledbetter (Samuel L. Jackson) loses his grip on reality and retreats from his life to a cave on the outskirts of Manhattan. After discovering a frozen body outside his cave, this paranoid schizophrenic tries to break out of his deranged fog so that he can solve what he believes to be a crime.
