Roseanne is harboring a horrible secret: her stepfather molests her. So this popular cheerleader and her bad boy boyfriend kill the stepfather in this black comedy loosely based on Fydor Dostoevsky's classic novel, Crime and Punishment. When Roseanne's mother is accused of the murder, Roseanne is forced to face her actions even though she thought the murder was justified.

"Two thumbs up!"
--Roger Ebert and Richard Roeper, HARPER'S BAZAAR

"Slickly entertaining. Electric young actor Vincent Kartheiser has a feral intensity that seizes the screen."
--Manohla Dargis, HARPER'S BAZAAR
