Steven (Albert Brooks), a down-on-his-luck Hollywood screenwriter, finds a real-life muse in Sarah (Sharon Stone). As Steven looks to Sarah for inspiration, his family life turns upside down. On hand as themselves are Cybill Shepherd, Martin Scorsese, James Cameron, Jennifer Tilly, Rob Reiner, and famed restaurateur Wolfgang Puck.
