A high-energy, feel-good movie, set in Singapore in the 1970s, the story tells of Ah Hock, a Bruce Lee wanna-be, who hopes to win a $5,000 grand prize at a disco dance competition. Signing up for dance lessons with his childhood sweetheart, Mei, he catches the eye of dance instructor Julie, who dumps her partner for Ah. Despite the wrath of Julie's ex-partner and the romantic dilemma he finds himself in, Ah wins the competition and the love of his sweetheart. A nostalgic look back at the age of glitter and disco dancing, replete with authentic icons, lingo and trends of Singapore.

"Tantalizing fun! Draws you into a high-spirited mood, with fast-paced rhythms and sexually charged energy!"
