BLOWUP

David Hemmings, Vanessa Redgrave, Sarah Miles

Turner/MGM; Directed by Michelangelo Antonioni

Not Rated; 110 minutes; 1966

A self-indulgent photographer (David Hemmings) in the free-swinging London of the 1960s believes he has witnessed a murder because of a discovery he’s made in a series of his photographs. BLOWUP is a provocative film about the dilemma of a man trapped in a lifestyle of inaction and non-commitment.
