Edna McCauly (Ellen Burstyn) almost dies in a car accident. Her husband isn’t quite so lucky. Edna returns from the dead possessing the gift of healing. But living in the Bible belt isn’t an easy thing for people with such powers. Edna’s life is in danger when she refuses to believe her newfound abilities are a gift from God.
