THAT MAN BOLT
Fred Williamson, Teresa Graves
Universal; Directed by Henry Levin
and David Lowell Rich
Rated R; 103 minutes; 1973
Here is a movie that successfully combines two of the most popular screen genres of the early 70's -- the black action film and the martial arts epic. Starring box-office champ Fred "The Hammer" Williamson as a super-cool diplomatic courier who is also a master of Kung Fu, That Man Bolt is as classy an example of either genre as one could ask for. It is also a good deal of fun. Co-starring Get Christy Love's Teresa Graves.
