Copyright Awareness Week provides teachers and librarians with
an opportunity to "celebrate creativity" while educating students
about copyright. Although most students regularly use copyrighted
materials such as books, music & movies, many may be unaware of
U.S. Copyright Law regulations against piracy, illegal downloading
and unauthorized public performances. Copyright Awareness Week
is an ideal time to encourage professional and ethical compliance.
